The Community Indicators Report is what I consider my masterpiece. This site was Fully Designed by me using Adobe XD, and with that prototype mockup, the County’s Administrative Office bought in and requested that ISD start a Web Standardization Initiative. This would give all The County’s sites a similar look and feel, so that sites could be rolled out more quickly, and be easier to maintain. This site received very much recognition from many different county departments and remains one of my favorite projects to date.

The site was built using ISD’s (Information Services Department) first custom theme, which I played a major role in building, Called Bolt. The team and I called it this because it was lightweight and fast, built with sass, and es6 js, and then compiled to be super efficient. It pages were built with WordPress’ Gutenburg Editor combined with the power of the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin. This allowed us to make Custom Gutenberg blocks, we decided this was our method of making the blocks just customizable enough to allow the customers to update content and while not compromising their ADA-compliant, optimized website.
